What do I need to obtain a marriage license?
- Marriage licenses are issued by appointment only until further notice.
- Birth certificates of each party
- Proof of address of each party
- Government-issued identification with photo (for example, a driver’s license) of each party
- $24.00 cash or check/money order payable to City Clerk
- If either person has previously been a party to a marriage, civil union, or registered domestic partnership, that person must present proof of how that relationship was legally terminated (for example, a death certificate or certified divorce decree).
