EARLY IN PERSON VOTING

If for any reason you believe you will not be able to make it to the polls on primary day, you can vote early using in person voting within 20 days before the election.You will be able to vote your ballot at the board of canvassers, take it with you, or authorize someone to pick it up for you.

Important 

In person ballots are now voted and inserted into the voting machine at the Board of Canvassers. The process requires voters to check in on the electronic poll book using an acceptable form of photo ID. The voter then completes their ballot and casts it in the DS 200. These ballots will be tabulated on election night at 8:00 p.m. when polls close. A voter also may apply for an mail ballot by obtaining an application from their local Board of Canvassers. If the application is accepted the Board of Canvassers will issue them a ballot with an envelope that they should complete then return to the Board of Canvassers. they must return the ballot by 8:00 P.M. the day of the election.
