MAYOR ANNOUNCES NEW PROCEDURES FOR RESIDENT PAYMENTS AND LAND EVIDENCE RECORDS

WOONSOCKET, RI:  In an effort to maintain consistency in government, new procedures have been implemented, effective Thursday, March 19th, that will allow the residents of Woonsocket and others to continue to conduct needed business with City Hall.  “This will allow for the continued good health and safety of residents, other consumers and our employees,” said Mayor Lisa-Baldelli Hunt.

Woonsocket City Hall is closed to the public until further notice.

There will be a drop box located in the Tax Assessor’s Office vestibule to be used for land evidence records to be recorded, and City tax, water or sewer bills. It will be available for use daily between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  Please leave only checks or money orders, no cash will be accepted.

Land evidence records:  Please include a contact phone number and a self-addressed return envelope. Email the Clerk to inform her of documents dropped at cduarte@woonsocketri.org.

City tax, water or sewer bills:  Pay online at https://www.woonsocketri.org/treasury-department-tax-collections, left in the drop box at City Hall or mailed to the address below.  If you would like a receipt, please include a self-addressed return envelope.
