Thanks to efforts over the years to clean it, The Blackstone River, running from Worcester, MA to Pawtucket, offers several public access points that provide opportunities for people to safely canoe or kayak, providing paddlers with a unique view of this beautiful region. Most of the 44 mile river is accessible for kayaking or canoeing. Water conditions and currents are mixed (from flatwater up to class 3 currents) requiring various degrees of navigating skills, from beginners to the more experienced. Portages also consist of a wide range of difficulty.

We will highlight the various resources available to assist paddlers with tours, equipment, and lessons and keep you up to date with any important information about the River, access points or paddling routes.
