Water Division

The Woonsocket Water Division as part of the Department of Public Works, provides, quality drinking water and dependable service to the public. 

The mission of the Water Division is to operate the City's Water treatement plant in accordance wiht all federal, state, and city requirements. The Water Division provides drinking water to in excess of 50,000 customers, daily.

Woonsocket Water's commitment to excellence is demonstrated by our investment in our employees. All system operators are state-certified based on a successful comprehensive national examination and continuing education requirements.

The City of Woonsocket Water Division does not endorse or work with any 3rd party water service insurance companies.
