COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information
The City of Woonsocket will no longer be offering any new vaccination opportunities at our municipal Point of Distribution in the Monsignor Gadoury School. Over the past several weeks, all State allocated first doses provided by the Rhode Island Department of Health have been administered here in Woonsocket at the cities Vaccine Point of Distribution.
We will continue to administer second dose vaccines at our municipal Point Of Distribution at Monsignor Gadoury School through the month of April to those individuals currently registered who have received their first dose with us.
Moving forward, the State of Rhode Island Department of Health will be transitioning to opening mass vaccination sites throughout the state to take over vaccinating all individuals who are interested in receiving a COVID-19 Vaccine. One of which will be located here in Woonsocket at the former Sears Department store at 1500 Diamond Hill Road.
Individuals who had initially registered with the City and have not received a call for an appointment need to sign up on the State of Rhode Island’s Vaccination Portal ASAP at https://www.vaccinateri.org/ to schedule a vaccination appointment at one of the new state-run sites.
Individuals unable to register for online appointments can receive help by calling 844-930-1779.

Homebound individuals interested in a COVID-19 Vaccination should register by completing the States online survey at http://bit.ly/homeboundvax
Homebound individuals unable to complete the online survey can receive assistance by calling Linda Plays, Director of Human Services at 401-767-9282.

- REGISTERING FOR VACCINATION AT A STATE-RUN SITE:
- To register to be vaccinated at one of the State-Run sites, visit VaccinateRI.org. People who cannot register online can get help by calling the automated line at 844-930-1779.
Going forward, the state call center will be open on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Through both systems, an individual can either make a personal appointment or an appointment for someone else who is in the eligible age category

- PHARMACY VACCINE REGISTRIES:
- It will take some time for everyone who wants a vaccine to schedule appointments and be vaccinated. Please be patient. You WILL have an opportunity to receive a vaccine.
In addition to registering on the Woonsocket COVID-19 Vaccine Registry above, you may also register at a variety of pharmacies or a state-run vaccination site.
