COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information

The City of Woonsocket will no longer be offering any new vaccination opportunities at our municipal Point of Distribution in the Monsignor Gadoury School. Over the past several weeks, all State allocated first doses provided by the Rhode Island Department of Health have been administered here in Woonsocket at the cities Vaccine Point of Distribution.

We will continue to administer second dose vaccines at our municipal Point Of Distribution at Monsignor Gadoury School through the month of April to those individuals currently registered who have received their first dose with us.

Moving forward, the State of Rhode Island Department of Health will be transitioning to opening mass vaccination sites throughout the state to take over vaccinating all individuals who are interested in receiving a COVID-19 Vaccine. One of which will be located here in Woonsocket at the former Sears Department store at 1500 Diamond Hill Road.

Individuals who had initially registered with the City and have not received a call for an appointment need to sign up on the State of Rhode Island’s Vaccination Portal ASAP at to schedule a vaccination appointment at one of the new state-run sites.
