Shannon Motors

Shannon Motors, a family owned and operated business, has been proudly servicing the community for over 35 years. After purchasing the original Johnston, RI based company, Shannon Motors Service Station and Dealership back in 1979, owners, Gary and John Gosselin kept the name and focused their energy on buying and selling cars through wholesale distribution. Around 1984 they expanded the car lot and began to experiment in the retail side of selling previously owned vehicles. As time went on, they realized there was a need to help individuals who were being turned away by other dealerships due to a tarnished financial portfolio or lack of established lines of credit. Based on this discovery, Shannon Motors started financing their own vehicles. Subsequently, the company grew further by adding 3 more locations. The ongoing vision of 2 brothers has resulted in selling over 25 thousand cars in the past 35 years!
