What about the financing of housing?

It is against the law for any lending institution that is in the business of real estate to discriminate against a person seeking a loan to purchase, construct, improve, repair or maintain a dwelling.  It is against the law to discriminate against a loan applicant in the fixing of the amount, interest rate, duration, or any other conditions of the loan because of the age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, familial status, or country of ancestral origin of the applicant.
