Holiday Rubbish & Recycling schedule update
WOONSOCKET, RI: The Woonsocket Department of Solid Waste announced changes to the hours of operation for Woonsocket rubbish and recycling services over the Independence Day holiday weekend. In observance of the July 4 holiday, the following services will be impacted.
- Woonsocket trash and recycling curbside pick-up will be pushed back one day.
- The Woonsocket Material Recycle Facility located at 943 River Street, Woonsocket will be closed on Saturday July 2nd and Monday July 4.
- The yard waste drop-off facility located in the Town of Blackstone, which services Woonsocket residents will also be closed on July 2 & 4.
