Rhode Island Lead Poisoning Prevention Act Inventory

As a result of recent amendments to the Rhode Island Lead Poisoning Prevention Act, (R.I. Gen. Laws 23-24.6-1) the City of Woonsocket is required to conduct an inventory of the materials (lead, copper, plastic, galvanized iron, etc.) in your building. This is an important step to protect our communities from the risks of lead exposure in drinking water.
Please note that the Woonsocket Water Division will be canvassing specific neighborhoods in order to identify service lines; this will include knocking on doors and leaving postings to inspect material composition of water services. Your help in keeping our community healthy and safe is greatly appreciated.
