Yard waste drop-off location extended through 1/14/2017
Woonsocket, RI: Curbside pick-up of yard waste ended on 12/3/2016, but due to late falling leaves this season, the City of Woonsocket has opened a temporary yard waste drop off site through 1/14/2017. Residents may drop off yard waste (grass clippings and leaves), in paper bags only, to the Recycle Facility at 943 River Street.
This extended service is available to Woonsocket residents only and is not available for commercial businesses. An attendant will be checking for proper identification. Paper bags should not include branches, stumps, or soil/dirt and should not be closed with tape.
Recycle Facility hours are: Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
