Voting District Map Adopted April 2022

The state constitution calls for the General Assembly to reapportion the State House and Senate Districts for all 39 cities and towns, as well as the two Congressional Districts, after each 10-year federal census. Accordingly, the General Assembly in February passed an updated redistricting plan.

As a result, the State House and Senate Districts in Woonsocket shifted slightly. As such, the city is also required to redraw the boundaries of its voting districts. These are the districts that determine where you vote on Election Day. The city still consists of Senate Districts 20 and 24 and House 49,50 and 51, but you may now be assigned a different district.
